    Jeff Sorg has entertained thousands of adoring fans throughout the New York metropolitan area with his award winning children's songs. His legendary "Raffi meets the Rolling Stones" style provides a sing-along concert the whole family can enjoy.

    In 1986, Jeff was selected as the first songwriter for Columbia University's "Performing Artist-in-the-Schools" program of study. It is there that he developed his sing-along program for children entitled "Songs Say So Much." Upon his graduation, he sang children's programs for the New York City Public Library system that entails over ninety branches.

* In 1988 - 2001 -  First to develop and conduct Mommy & Me music programs at South Battery Park, NYC.

 

* In 1995 - 2020 - Children’s singer of "Songs Say So Much" program at Parent’s Resource Center. Port Washington, NY

    Jeff"s first highly acclaimed children's recording Songs Say So Much, was soon followed by others that included Big Songs, Little Songs Say So MuchMerry Christmas Songs Say So Much; and Carry Me. Children have nothing but rave reviews for his musical video, "Monkey Bars" !

   Jeff's first children's recording titled Songs Say So Much was bought by EMI/Angel Records and released in 1995, distributed by Capital Records.

   Jeff is also an accomplished theater composer/lyricist. In 1989-90. he was awarded a Fellowship Grant from the New Jersey Council on the Arts for his musical compositions in the opera/theater category. Jeff, a member of ASCAP, has also received numerous ASCAP Popular Panel Awards for his songs in theatre and for children.
